June 01, 2024 (Ethiopian Embassy in Ankara)- H.E Ambassador Adem Mohammed held a productive discussion with Ethiopians, Ethiopian Origins and friends of Ethiopia on 1st June 2023 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
In his opening remarks, Ambassador Adem commended the members of the Community for their support to the development activities in Ethiopia, and gave a detail explanation on the mission’s overall activities and diaspora matters. Deputy head of mission, Ambassador Mulie Tarekegn, in his part, briefed on the development activities and the current national matters that are taking place in Ethiopia.
The leaders of Ethiopian Community in Türkiye explained on the overall activities of the community and the participation of its members. They said that they would keep providing financial and technical support to the development activities of Ethiopia.
Ambassador Adem has extended his appreciation and handed over a certificate of recognition to Ethiopians, Ethiopian origins and friends of Ethiopia who have financially supported the “Clean Ethiopia” initiative and assisted Ethiopian citizens in Türkiye.
Finally, Ambassador Adam gave a response and explanation to the questions and comments raised from the participants. At the margin of the discussion, consular and immigration services were provided to the community.
