A forum on Ethiopian Diaspora Diplomacy was organized today in the Science Museum alongside the ongoing Diplomacy Week Exhibition.
The forum sought to foster collaboration with the second-generation Diaspora homecoming program.
H.E. Ambassador Mesganu Arga, State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delivered a message about the Diaspora’s role in diplomacy and thanked Diasporas for their efforts to advance their country’s interests. He called upon the Diasporas to participate in their own country’s development.
Dr. Mohammed Endris, Director General of the Ethiopian Diaspora Agency, explained the forum’s objectives. Ethiopian ambassadors, senior diplomats, and representatives from the Diaspora attended the event.
The higher-level Ethiopian Diaspora Diplomacy Forum focused on nation-building, development, and diplomacy.
