November 12, 2024 (Baku, Azerbaijan): President Taye Atskeselassie has underscored the importance of integrating problem-solving technologies in Ethiopia to tackle the various challenges confronting its citizens. His recent visit to a government service center in Baku, Azerbaijan, revealed a facility that efficiently offers over 400 different services, showcasing the transformative power of technology in enhancing service delivery.

During his observations, President Taye emphasized the advantages of consolidating services from multiple government offices into a single location, expressing that “Ethiopia has much to learn from this model.”

He was particularly struck by the rapid processing times for essential services such as driver’s licenses and marriage certificates.

Meanwhile, Ethiopia is actively engaged in the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), further highlighting its commitment to addressing pressing issues.
