Russia and Ethiopia have held talks on strengthening their cooperation spanning from bilateral ties to economic collaboration which includes fertilizer supply as well as fertilizer production in Ethiopia.

The discussion was held between a delegation of Russian Federation led by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Mikhail Yurin and Ethiopia’s Minister of Industry, Melaku Alebel and Minister of Agriculture, Girma Amente (PhD).

The two have also discussed the current state of their relations and future scenarios.

The delegation from Russia, along with representatives of Russian companies PhosAgro, NIIK, Acron and Uralchem, visited the headquarters of the BKG company.

The parties exchanged views on ways to develop cooperation in the sphere of fertilizer supply and production.
